Me
Hi, I am Paul Billany.
My Background:
I Served in the Royal Air Force for 18 years as a Weapons Controller. I worked across the globe in some unique environments and met some truly amazing people. Leaving in 2007 I became a professional photographer and keen model aircraft pilot. In 2016 I amalgamated my job as a photographer and my passion for flying and gained my CAA qualifications to become a Commercial Drone Operator.
Over the last 7 years, I have worked all over the UK, offshore and abroad with some of the most highly skilled drone operators and companies in the UK. This has given me huge experience in the Film and TV industry, as well as Asset Inspection, construction site monitoring, aerial surveying, marketing and publicity. Vast experience working offshore operating from CTV’s, support vessels, platforms and small boats in tricky conditions both day and night.
Family:
Its a personal belief of mine that Family is the key to happiness, when not looking to the skies I can be found with my wife and 2 girls out on the water paddle boarding, cycling through the amazing scenery of Northern Scotland or out on long country walks with our crazy Cocker Spaniel; Haggis.
